Outside Sales Representative - Residential Sales

URSP Sales Representatives endeavor to generate a great customer service experience for our customers building strong relationships with home owners.

They shall actively pursue leads in store or by phone and answer all customer questions knowledgeably, with authority and at all times treat the customer with courtesy and integrity.

Time will be shared between pursuing leads and closing sales consultations at the customer's home.

As a key external representative for URSP, Sales representatives are expected to act in a highly professional manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in generating leads and pursuing same.
  • Developing quotes for customers using in house online tools.
  • Performing preliminary site surveys and basic designs for system sizing and presentation to customer.
  • Closing deals at customers home.
  • Reworking proposals, as circumstances require.
  • Getting contracts signed and change orders prepared and approved as needs be.
  • Recording all communications and pertinent details in our CRM system.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to develop leads and close sales.
  • Good communication skills and ability to generate good customer service.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of a successful in-home sales record.
  • Solar installation and design preferred.
  • Ability to develop sales forecasts and deliver to monthly sales quotas.
  • Track record in developing business relationships.
  • Computer skills required.
  • All candidates must be able to successfully pass a mandatory background check.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Clean driving record in the last 5 years.
